A studio of one, on purpose.
Mr. Fox, LLC is a software studio founded in Chicago and run by Anthony Guzzardo out of San Diego. It builds mobile apps, research instruments, and the unglamorous backend systems they sit on top of. It is not an agency. It is a product company that takes on selective client work.
That distinction matters. The same person who designs the architecture writes the code, deploys it, and answers the pager when something breaks at 2 a.m. There is no handoff layer between "the engineer" and "you."
What I'm Working On
The day-to-day focus is Dealifier, a React Native mobile app launching in Charlotte. It's a local-first take on deal aggregation, built around how people actually shop in their own city instead of how aggregators wish they would.
Alongside Dealifier, I'm developing Alice, a research instrument that asks one question per day and measures how a person thinks over time. It uses two channels of deterministic signal: keystroke dynamics on one, text structure on the other. The goal is something that accumulates meaning across years. No gamification. No dashboard. Just depth.
How I Got Here
Before Dealifier and Alice, there was Rangley, a location-based social meetup app I built and shipped to the iOS App Store solo. SwiftUI on the front, Swift Vapor on the back, AWS in the middle. It served real users, taught me what App Store review, on-call rotations, and infrastructure bills actually feel like, and ran in production until I retired the servers in March 2026.
Rangley wasn't a side project. It was the proof. The work it produced is what led directly to where I am now. Every line of Dealifier and Alice is written by someone who has shipped a real product to real users and supported it in the wild.
Background
BS in Computer Science, DePaul University, 2023. Engineering work at EL3 Tech and Treevah across multiple industries before founding Mr. Fox. Comfortable across the stack: SwiftUI, Kotlin/Compose, React Native, TypeScript, Swift Vapor, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Rust where it earns its keep, and AWS where it doesn't bankrupt you.
How I Work
Direct. Fast. No pointless meetings, no overengineered solutions, no slide decks pretending to be deliverables. If you have a real product to build and you want one person who can actually finish it (not three people coordinating about finishing it), that's the value proposition.
